Chicago's Next Reality Star? Tune.FM Sits Down With Britany Boom Boom
We caught up with miss Brittany "Boom Boom" hanging around town, and now we are absolutely disheveled. She's like the quirky girl next door but with a killer attitude ... here, see for yourself.
Tune.FM: Hi! Thanks for taking the time to sit down and chat with us. What does a typical day look like for Brittany ... erm uh Boom Boom?
Britany: Thank You for the opportunity! Well I do whatever I want all day. Most of the time I'm either out to lunch or shopping with friends, getting our nails done, Starbucks, you name it! Things pretty much run smoothly around here although there is usually at least one hectic, crazy, drama filled hour in my day. I like it though, keeps life interesting. Ya know? Otherwise I would get bored if my life wasn't the way it is.
Tune.FM: So would you say you are a "drama queen?"
Britany: Haha. I'm not but I cant help it if it follows me.
Tune.FM: ... and we understand you are currently aspiring to be the next reality TV star? Has that changed your routine at all or is it pretty much business as usual?
Britany: Mmhmm, its pretty much business as usual but lately I've had to change things up a bit. Usually I'm out all day but I've been more worried about "the call."
Tune.FM: Well we are keeping our fingers crossed for you. Can you tell us a little more about the show you are trying out for?
Britany: I don't know full details just yet, but, from what I understand its a reality show similar to the Jersey Shore only that its based on the lives of true Southside Chicagoans. They're looking for people who are buff, sexy, tan, and who are definitely White Sox fans.
Tune.FM: We love Chicago! Jersey shore has absolutely nothing on the Lake Shore (Drive) in our book (laughs). How long have you been a Chicago resident?
Britany: You're absolutely right and that's why I'm ready to show the world how Chicago gets down! I was born and raised on the southside since 1990!
Tune.FM: Of course, we tend to focus a lot on the nightlife aspect of the city. Any particular favorites you want us to know about?

Britany: Hmmmm too many to choose from, literally, you know downtown its going on pretty much everywhere. I would definitely say Soundbar, Crobar, Spybar and Level just to name a few.
Tune.FM: That's a lot of ".. bars!" Do you have a favorite DJ?
Britany: I do, I personally love Serge Devant and it makes it hard to choose one from Chicago because there are so many with great talent out here.
Tune.FM: Right on. So spring break is coming, big plans?
Britany: Im not exactly sure yet ...South beach?!
Tune.FM: On a scale of 1 - 10, how messy is your room?
Britany: Hahaha of course you would have to ask this question the one time that its dirty but I would say about a 5. Its not even that its disgusting or dirty its just kinda cluttered I have no more room for clothes, shoes, purses, and makeup anymore, but yet, it seems to keep accumulating.
Tune.FM: All of us over here at Tune.FM have mad ninja skills ... any hidden talents we should know about?
Britany: Aside from my drinking talent?! I've been told I'm very artistic. I have others that I wish to keep private (winks).
Tune.FM: (Winks back) ... We firmly believe that a good stare is all the self-defense that is necessary, but when times get tough, how do you fend off those pesky jealous types? Has anyone treated you differently now that you are making your way up to the limelight?
Britany: Are you talking about haters?
Tune.FM: In a word. Yes.
Britany: I try not to upset myself with them, its really not worth it. If they truly get to me it could get pretty ugly. My friends are great so for the most part everyone has been really supportive. I also started a fan page just to get out there and people who I don't even know are rooting for me and that has been a really great feeling.
Tune.FM: Ok real fast. Dogs or Cats?
Britany: Dogs without a doubt.
Tune.FM: Gucci or Prada?
Britany: Both!
Tune.FM: Sox or Cubs?
Britany: Diehard White Sox fan.
Tune.FM: Fair enough! Do us a favor before we say farewell ... we need help writing a slogan for this interview. "Brittany, She's Hot" doesn't quite do it.
Britany: Hmmmm I thought we were going with Britany Boom Boom, "hometown" hottie?!
Tune.FM: Checkmate!
